Connacht Junior Sportswriter award

This award has been set up to encourage more young members to get involved in writing match reports and newspaper articles of Ladies Gaelic Football activities.

Criteria:

Applicant must be Under 25 years

Applicant must be a member of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association

Article must be in relation to a club Ladies Gaelic football event at any age level/grade

Article must be no more than 350 words excluding title, team lists and scorers.

Pictures may be included but not necessary (please ensure that all those photographed have previously given consent)

Remember: keep the article interesting for the reader and do not be one sided in the case of match reports.

All entries received until Dec 31^st 2011 will be considered for the 2011 Connacht Junior Sportswriters Award.
