Pride of place this week goes to our minor ladies on winning the (2011) minor division 2 county title for the third year in a row, the defeated Roscommon Gls in the final,Final score read 3.14 - 4.02.Well done to the team and management for their efforts during the year.
The club will be hosting a "Ready-Steady-Go" course on Tuesday 13th of March in Ballinlough community centre at 7.30pm,This is a course for people that have an interest in helping out our ladies club in administration or coaching.Any members of the club that would like to attend this course are more than welcome to attend,for more details please contact (083) 3484443.
Membership for 2012 is as follows,
100euro -membership & Insurance for adults players
30euro - For all underage players
40euro - For non players
All players must have their membership paid if the wish to play football for the club in 2012.
Please note that only people who are members of the club can use the
gym facilities at the centre.
Registration Evenings for all Underage players is as follows,
Cloonfad-Tuesday 21st of February (after school) in Cloonfad community
centre at 3pm.
Granlahan - Friday 24th of February in Granlahan Community Centre at 7.30pm
The (mens) Junior A team were defeated by Shannon Gaels on a scoreline of 1.07 to 0.05 in the (2011) north west Junior final,
this game was played last sunday in Croghan
The (boys) Minor league will begin this weekend (check fixtures for details).
Congratulation to Seamus Burke on been selected as "Club minor player of the year" for 2011.
