Congratulations to the Sean Doyle and sons Minor Ladies team who have qualified for the Division 2 Final after a tough semi final played on Sunday morning in Kilbride against St.Brigids . Kilbride began brightly scoring two early points . but despite having alot of the possession in the first half  they still found themselves trailing by a point at the half way mark  0-8  to 2-03 having missed several scoring chances  . Once again  they started the second half with some early scores and then a goal saw them go three points clear . However try as they might they could not shake off a strong Brigids team who continued to pile on the pressure and closed the gap to one point with just 3 minutes left . It was a nail biting time for management and supporters alike and when St.Brigids were awarded a free on the 20m line it looked like the game was heading foir extra time . Fortunately for Kilbride the attempt dropped short and Kilbride cleared their lines and within seconds the referee blew the final whistle to the relief of the Kilbride contingent .
