Notes beginning Monday 3rd Feb 2020

We are running a Child Safe Guarding course in Croghan NS on Monday 10 February from 7pm to 10pm. Every coach working with any underage group within the Club must have completed this course. If you haven't already completed this course, you need to do it to continue coaching. Please contact Aisling McGovern our new Childrens Officer to book your place. Just a reminder as well that anyone who is coaching, managing or training underage teams or indeed adult teams that contain any player U18 years of age must be  Garda vetted so please make sure that this is in place.

The club is also running a foundation course on the 7th & 8th Feb for anyone that wants to take up coaching. It’s a combination of classroom based scenarios on the Fri eve for approx 2 hrs and then skill development training on the Sat Morn for approx 3-4 hours. Please contact coaching officer Barry Dowd 086 8463093 for information.

Registration for club membership is now due. Players are not insured for training or games if you haven't paid up membership. The club has made it easier now to register with ClubForce. Please use the link www.clubforce.com and select Shannon Gaels to register.

Thank you to everyone who has returned their National Draw tickets and money, it is very much appreciated. Anyone who still has tickets and money could they please drop back this week to either Colm, Patricia or Teresa as deadline is approaching.

The club wishes neighbouring Elphin clubman Shane Killoran a speedy recovery from injury sustained in Roscommon game at the weekend.
