Our ladies club had the first game of the season after all the storms in Croghan on Sunday evening where our u16 ladies hosted St Bridgets. In a closely fought competition Shannon Gaels were finally defeated by 2 points. They will now face Oran next Sunday 15th at 4pm also in Croghan.

Our senior ladies also play in Croghan on Sunday in what is the 3rd round of the Div 2 league but 1st game this year due to weather. They take on Michael Glaveys at 12noon. Please support both of our teams.

The club sends best wishes to Christina Beirne on the colleges All Ireland final. She will captain her DIT inter team in the Kerry Centre of Excellence next Friday. Best of luck to team and management.
