U-10 Injury Fund Fee and Gaelic4Mothers&Others Registration Fee
U-10 Injury Fund Fee and Gaelic4Mothers&Others Registration Fee
March 31, 2021
A chara,
It has been brought to our attention that as numbers of children participating at U-10 level is high in many counties, the Ladies Football Board are organising girls only Go-Games and activities. This is fantastic development work by our County Boards and we encourage all boards to establish regular activity for this age group within your County, when we are all permitted to do so of course.
Please note all U-10 girls playing in LGFA activities must now pay €2 to the Injury Fund. As the activities are girls only, we need to ensure the appropriate injury fund cover is in place should an injury occur.
To do this we must include all U-10 girls in the LGFA Injury Fund and introduce a nominal fee of €2 per player. This will allow any LGFA registered U-10 player who incurs an injury while playing within a Ladies Football only activity to make a claim to the LGFA Injury Fund.
Please note this fee will be introduced now for the upcoming registration year for all U-10 girls.
Also an update in regards to the Gaelic4Mothers&Others Registration Fees. Previous correspondence contained the wrong fees for Club, County and Provincial. Please note the fee should be €3 to Central Council and €2 to Club, €2 to County Board and €2 to Provincial Council.
