County final
Hard luck to the MacDiarmada Gaels u17 lads who lost the county final to St Mary’s on Sunday. The lads had played well this year and deservedly were in the final where they took on a team they had beaten a few weeks ago. Unfortunately it was St Mary’s that came out on top in this encounter and were crowned county champions. All credit to the team and management they have put in a supreme effort and will be disappointed with the result. Hopefully the lads will be back next year and give it another crack.
Connacht Skills
Best of luck to the u13 MacDiarmada lads who will be representing Leitrim in the Connacht skills challenge in the Connacht Air-dome on Friday night . We have two out of the four teams representing Leitrim from MacDiarmada with Sean Curran, Diarmuid Prior, Eoin Phillips and Colton Quinn on one team and Jacob McTague, Senan Lee, Luke Maguire and Charlie Van Der Laan in the other. Hopefully it won’t be the last time these boys pull on a county jersey and we wish them all well on Friday night.
