Ballinamore Club Notes
Ballinamore Area Community Games All Ireland Champions
Great celebrations around the area on Saturday night as we welcomed our All-Ireland winner’s home. It was a great occasion for the young footballers and their families and great to see so many people on the street to celebrate their wonderful achievement. The lads and their management team have been brilliant during this campaign and have been deservedly crowned all Ireland winners in the u10 category. It’s wonderful to see these young players from Ballinamore, Fenagh, Aughawillian, Drumreilly and Aughnasheelin showing such talent and representing Leitrim so well amd hopefully these boys will continue to progress for their clubs and County for years to come. Special mention to all the mentors from all the clubs for their contribution and to Zoe, Dawn, Adrian, Dessie and Sauce for making the home coming for the players so memorable. A special well done to our own representatives on the team Seimi Barra Murphy, James Dillon, Daniel Kellett on the pitch and Pat Dillon on the management team.
Senior Ladies
Well done to the ladies on a very good victory on Sunday the result means that the ladies now have two finals to look forward to with an A and a B final. All at the club wish the team the very best in the upcoming games. Special thanks to Corlough GAA for allowing us to use their facilities will the pitch is being completed.
U11 Season
Well done to the u11’s who took part in the festival of football in Annaduff, it was a great day out and end to the season for all the players. Special thanks again to all of the players and mentors for all the hard work this season.

1st Prize €500 Joe Kellegher / Shane Maguire
2nd Prize €200 Ciaran Smyth
3rd Prize €100 James Cafferty
4th Prize €100 Noel McTague
5th Prize €100 Lynda Harte
MacDiarmada Gaels
Well done to the U17 lads who had a good win over St Mary’s on Sunday evening, it was a good game with two impressive teams in action. A strong start by the MacDiarmada lads in the first half proved crucial as St Mary improved after the break but were met by a stout defence who held firm with the keeper Leo making a couple of great saves. The win should hopefully secure a place in the semi-final for the lads with one round of games to go which takes place against Mohill on Saturday at 12. Final score 1:15 to 2:10
