Games: It was a mixed week on the field with 4 games down for
decision. The Junior mens team were beaten by a stronger & better
Catlerea team in Tarmonbarry on Saturday last. Although beign 7 points
behind at half time 2 quick goals in the second alf brought us back on
track. But the Castlerea lads drove on from there and and ran out
winners in the end. The senior ladies took to the field for their
first competitive game of the year against Kilbride under new manager
Tommy Donoghue. The two teams met on Good Friday in a challenege &
Kilglass ran out easy winners but this would be different. Although
missing a number of key players kilglass were well in the game and
played well but the spoils were to be shared as the teams finished
level on 2-8 each. The u16 girls were next with their co semi final
against Shannon Gaels and this was to be a miss match if ever there
was one as the Croghan ladies were simply too strong for our girls on
the day. As this now brings their championship to a close we thank the
team and managment for their effoert during the year. The minor boys
finished off the weekend with a massive win over kilmore in the
league. These two teams always serve up greta games but our lads were simply too good for the lads on the day.

Presentation Night: Our presentation night was held in the Kon-Tiki
last weekend. Its fair to say a great night was had by one and all. We
would like to thank our special guests Marie Mc Aleer & Fr Kevin
Fallon for beign with us on the night. Also to Cormac Judge , David
Nugent , Colman & Paul & the social comittee for all their help in the
smooth running of the night. The following people received the annual
awards on the night. Club player of the year was prenented to Diarmuid
Connellan. Most dedicated player of the year was presented to Eddie
Comboy. Club person of the year was presented to  Rosaleen Gallogly.
Hall of fame award was presented to Johhny Mc Hugh.
Welcome Home: The club would like to welcome home on their holidays
two of of Australian exports Patrick Heavin & Brian Feeney. Hope you
have a nice relaxing and quiet stay???

Deepest Sympathy: The club would like to sympathise with the Tully
family on the recent death of their relative Teresa keane. Teresa who
died recently was origanally from Elphin & is a sister of Jo Tully &
an aunt of Aidan Tully. May she rest in peace.

Bingo & Lotto: As always every Saturday night these two events are
massive in the club. The bingo is now at a massive jackpot of €5,750
on 44 calls or less and it is there for the taking. Lotto continues
this weekend and draw is in cox's & the jackpot is €16,700.
