Junior A Final between Naomh Anna Leitirmoir and Annaghadown played in Spiddal. Naomh Anna have been knocking at the door of Intermediate for the last few years and there were high expectations that they would achieve this year, but Annaghadown had other thoughts.

Naomh Anna got off to a great start when Barbara Ni Loinsigh slotted over a point against a strong breeze and it was followed by another from Niamh Ni Chualain. Grainne Barret had a shot at goal blocked by the Naomh Anna goalie Nora Ni Ogain before Annaghadown registered their first score, a point from Aoife Scully. Aoife and Rachael pointed again for Annaghadown before Aine Ni Laoi found the back of the Annaghadown net. The side exchange points when Naomh Anna were awarded a penalty. Philomena Ni Fhlatharta make no mistake. The first half was drawing to a close when Annaghadown's Grainne Barrett found the Naomh Anna net with a rocket and she followed that with a second goal. Philomena Ni Flatharta pointed for Naomh Anna and the sides went in at halft time level on 2-6 each.

Goals win games and after an exchange of points Grainne Barret (Annaghadown) again found her range with her 3rd goal  and this was followed by another from substitute Martha Goaley. Leitirmoir got the last three points of the game but that was not enough to win. Annaghadown won the game on a scoreline of 4-7 to 2-10.
