Westport Ladies under 16 Team are through to the A Championship Final & are to meet Old Rivals Crossmolina, Date & Venue TBC.

This comes from the win over Louisburgh last Wednesday evening. A great Match from start to Finish, just taking Westport's Kirsten Walsh 3 minutes to get the first score of the game & Nicole Gannon to follow 3 minutes later with a goal from a well timed pass from Sarah Dorthery - Who may not have scored herself but can take credit for some great scores throughout the game. Mid-Fielders Rebecca O'Malley & Siobhan Golden were outstanding, winning most of the Kick outs & getting them into the Forward Line, Louisburgh came back strong in the 2nd half but Westport were just too strong. It was a real team effort for the Navy & Blues, Well Done to Both Teams & Good Luck in the Final.
