St. Croans Ladies GAA

Th U12 girls played Castlerea  in the fourth round of the league on Monday evening last.  Despite some strong challenges from the Croans girls the Castlerea defence was too strong for us and Castlerea went on to claim victory.  The fifth round of the leagues sees the U 12 girls travel to Kilmore.  All players are asked to be in Kilmore pitch at 6.45.  Training continues on Monday and Friday evenings.

Training continues for the under 8 and under 10s on saturday morning in Enfield at 10.30.  New members are always welcome.

We would like to congratulate Ava Malone, player on the U12 panel, who won the All Ireland title in Irish dancing in Dublin recently.  Well done Ava.

We would also like to congratulate all the children who received the sacrement of Confirmation recently in our parish and to all the children who received their First Holy Communion in Ballintubber on Saturday last.

The official opening of our new pitch will take place on the June Bank holiday weekend.  All details of the events planned for this weekend are available on the St. Croans GAA  website.

Tickets for Mike Denver, who will be playing in the marquee on Friday 31st May are gone on sale and are selling fast, so dont delay.
