The senior team contested the Connacht Club League final in Ballyhaunis last Tuesday and were defeated by Claregalway on a score line of 1.10 to 2.14.  It was a very fast moving game and really tested both sides but on the day the better team won.  The senior team now look forward to the Championship Final on 21stSept against Geevagh in Tubbercurry at 3.45pm.

The Minor Team were the first to line out for a Championship Final on Sunday last and were put to the test by St. Marys who defeated them earlier in the year.  In wintery conditions St. Nathys got off to the better start and developed a good lead going into the second half.  St. Nathys were on target for a lot of their scores and capitalized on the experience of their senior players to help secure the victory with a final score of 3.15 to 1.2.  Well done to the management: Aine Gormley, Aileen Hannon, & Noelle Gormley and the Team: Chloe Gormanly, Emily Whitehead, Jacqueline Barrett, Belina Mitchell, Granne McDonagh, Laoise mcDonagh, Tara Doddy, Niamh Gorman (0.2) (Capt), Hannah Walsh (1.3), Saoirse O'Dowd, Kathleen Coleman (0.6), Caoimhe Finan, Sarah Burke (0.2), Carol Coleman (0.2), Helen O'Kennedy, Katie Reynolds, Mary Ann O'Kennedy (2.0), Ciara Gorman, Amy O'Hara.

The U10 Girls had their last training session for 2013 last week, It was a great year and Thanks to all the players and parents for making it an enjoyable one.

The U14's compete in the B Championship final on Thursday next at 6.30pm in Sligo IT against St. Marys.  Good luck to the team and management.

Under 12's season is coming to a close as they play their last game on Tuesday 17thSept.  (Coolera/Strandhill @ 7pm).  They are a young side and found it hard competing against the stronger teams but they have trained hard and showed great potential for the future.

The club has some gear left over for sale.  Size 26" Shorts at €20.00 and size 10 T-Shirts at €10.00.  (The t-shirts are a small fit)  anyone interested please contact Louise on 0876356679.
