October 29, 2013
Well done to our u14 girls and team management on their 2-13 to 3-5 win over Craughwell in the county final played in Milltown last Bank holiday Monday 28th Oct .
In very wet and windy conditions our girls played with the wind advantage in the first half and went into the break 1-12 to 1-4, was that enough we thought, the wind was worth at least an eight point advantage. In the second half Craughwell scored a Goal in the first 3 min to bring the gap back to five, Game on! Our girls showed true grit and kept Craughwell at bay for most of the second half, Craughwell were awarded a penalty which they scored but with a tally of 1-1 to 2-1 in the second half our talented girls came out on top to win by five points.
