U16 Ladies in county final
Best of luck to our U16 ladies team who take on neighbours Fenagh in the 9-a-side final on Sunday next November 10th at 3pm. Keep an eye on fixtures for confirmation of venue for this game. Please get the red and green out and support this great young team! Best of luck girls!
Well done Phyllis & Deirdre
Leitrim Ladies GAA County Board marked the 25th anniversary of the countyâs All-Ireland Junior Championship triumph on Saturday last in The Landmark Hotel. It is 25 years since Leitrim lifted the Junior title after beating London in 1988 in Croke Park. The 1984 Leitrim team who reached the All-Ireland Senior Final will also be honoured at the function. Kiltubrid's Deirdre Harris and Phyllis Doherty were members of both respective teams!
Club meeting
A club meeting will take place in Gerties, Keshcarrigan at 8.15 on Thursday next. All players are asked to attend.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Regina and Derek Foley on the birth of their beautiful twin boys last week. We were all delighted to hear the wonderful news! Two future Kiltubrid stars no doubt! Well done Regina & Derek!
Ulster Bank GAA Force
Kiltubrid GAA would like to invite everyone in the parish to join with them in the celebration of their winning of the Ulster Bank GAA Force competition on Saturday morning 9th November at 10.00am at the pitch. Please come along for some food, presentation of underage medals, awards, refreshments and fun on the day.
Hard luck to our U16 boys team who were defeated by the narrowest of margins on Saturday last. Final score was Garadice 0-8 Kiltubrid 0-7. Great credit must go to these young boys and their coaches who have put a tremendous amount of time and effort in this year. Boys you can hold your heads high you represented your parish with great pride today, well done! The future is bright!
