Tidy Towns:
Lecarrow is involved in the Tidy Towns’ Competition once again this year. We would appreciate if everyone played their part in keeping the school grounds tidy and maybe some ‘green fingers’ among you  will kindly plant our window boxes. Please keep area outside the school gate litter free as our “litter pickers” are not allowed in this area.

Congratulations:  We extend heartiest congratulations to Ms. O’ Hara on the birth of her beautiful baby boy Noah on Mothers’ Day. Baby Noah has even sent us all a little wave already!

New Sub Teacher: We welcome Elaine Connolly to our school as our Substitute teacher in the Junior room while Ms. O’ Hara is on maternity leave.

First Penance: Congratulations to our second class boys and girls who made their First Confessions recently in St. John’s Church.  We ask you to keep Ailbhe Heavey, Saffron Fallon, Heather Cunningham, Ruairí Kilcline and Conor Murphy in your prayers as they prepare for their First Holy Communion on May 10th at 11.30 am in St. John’s Church.

6th Class: Courtney Kelly, Áine Keenan, Savannah Cassidy, Laura Leonard, M.J. O’ Connor and Jimmy Ledo are busy preparing for their Confirmation on April 30th at 11 am in St. John’s Church.  As part of their preparation, they enjoyed a day Retreat in Knock yesterday. Please keep them in your prayers also as they prepare to be Witnesses for Christ.
