St Brigidâs Mayo Ladies Gaelic Football Club.
The Club was founded back in 1998 with an aim to provide football in the Parishes of Lacken, Ballycastle, Kilfian, Moygownagh, Cooneal and Killala.
The club currently provides football for U-10 through to senior and has been well represented at county level by players at various age groups.
St Brigidâs Ladies Gaelic Football Club are really delighted and excited for all our U14 girls to be participating in Feile Peil 2014 on the weekend of the 27th to 29th June which is being hosted by Connacht this year.
St Brigidâs last participated in this competition back in 2006 with one of the players from that team now involved with coaching the current team who are really looking forward to the competition.
Féile is a hugely important competition for the GAA and especially for those with interest in underage activity which offers young footballers the opportunity to participate in a weekend of fun and action that the players will cherish for many years to come.
All Connacht teams who participate must host a visiting team of players including mentors and we are privileged to welcome Monaghanâs Donaghmoyne girls who will be accommodated in the family homes of our club.
All counties will be represented in the competition and the girls will compete across 4 divisions with St Brigidâs operating in Division 2 group B along with Ballinasloe, Donaghmoyne and Clan Eireann.

The club also appreciates all the support by parents, club members and committee members and everyone who has been helping out.
We are urging all families involved in the club and as many people as possible from the clubs catchment areas to get out and show your support for these girls over the weekend.
