Club Results

Junior B Football Championship – Ballinamore SOH had an impressive 2 point victory over our closest rivals Aughawillan. Paul Prior was in excellent form taking some well deserved scores and kicked a total of 8 points on the day. He was ably supported by Dean McGovern at midfield. Overall this was a fine performance by the team and a well deserved victory with a final score of 0-14 to 0-12. Team: Colm Brennan, Kevin Banks, Donal Feely, Brian Banks, Cyril Óg Smith; Kevin Prior; David McLoughlin; Jason Kellett; Dean McGovern; Diarmaid Keegan (1); Paul Prior (8); Ronan O’Rourke; Luke Murphy (2); Peter Reynolds (3); Rory O’Rourke; Subs; Darryl McFarrland, John Christie.
Under 14 boys Football Championship – Ballinamore SOH were beaten by St Brigids by a score of 3-10 to 3-8 in a close fought game.
Gallogly Catering Division 1 – Ballinamore SOH were well beaten by Glencar Manorhamilton by a score of 2-11 to 0-6. Hopefully the team can improve on this performance when they meet Glencar Manorhamilton again in the Championship in their must win encouncter in a few weeks time.
Under 12 Girls had a good win in their match against Dromahair last Thursday.

Reelin in the years Table Quiz

Folks, thanks to everyone for supporting our Reelin in the Years table quiz last Friday night in Gay Priors. There was a great turnout with 18 teams taking part. Special thanks to all our sponsors on the night for making it such a success and a great night was enjoyed by all.

All Ireland Tickets annual draw

The annual draw for two All Ireland Tickets and accommodation for two people together with other prizes of overnight accommodation for two in the Mc Eniff and Clarion hotels will take place in September. Tickets will be given out to underage club players in the coming week, two books per family and will also be available in shops locally.

Driving Forward

Are you interested in Sprot? Do you want to improve your Reading, Writing, and Computer skills? Driving Forward is an exciting, free, new course commencing in September 2014. It is for 18-25 year olds from the Ballinamore, Kinlough, Manorhamilton and surrounding areas that have basic English difficulties including dyslexia, want to improve their reading, writing and computer skills or left school early. Under 10 & 12 trip to Croke Park

This trip last Sunday was a great success with a group of about 40 young players and their chaperones visiting Croke Park for the Leinster Football Final of Dublin vs Meath. Thanks to everyone for the organisation involved and volunteering your time to make this a very successful trip.
