Kiltubrid Ladies Notes

Under 6,8, 10's
A huge well done to all our Under 6, 8 and 10 stars of the future who celebrated completing their first year of coaching and training on Saturday last.  It was fantastic to see so many young girls starting their journey with Kiltubrid Ladies this year and huge credit must go to all those who helped organise our coaching and Gaelic4Girls initiatives throughout the year and all those who gave a hand and coached each Saturday morning.  The girls have made huge progress this year with Kiltubrid Ladies first ever Under 10 team taking part in numerous blitz's throughout the county as well as getting the opportunity to showcase their skills on the biggest stage of all in Croke Park earlier in the summer! Again a big well done to all the players and coaches and we hope to see you all back next year for more of the same!

Thank You!
A huge thank you to Cormac Rogers of Sign Warehouse Drumshanbo who generously sponsored a set of boot bags for all of our Under 6, 8 and 10 girls.  The girls finished up for the year on Saturday last and it was a great reward for the hard work and dedication they have put in all year.  Thanks to Cormac and all at Sign Warehouse the girls will be kitted out in style for the start of the 2015 season!

Under 12 Leitrim Ladies Development Squad
The last training session for the Leitrim Ladies County Under 12 development squad will be held this Saturday at 2:30pm in Drumshambo.

Under 16 Ladies
Our Under 16 Girls had a busy week last week with no less than 3 games down for decision as the championship gets into full swing.  The girls had suffered a narrow loss after a terrific comeback against Dromahaire on Wednesday before losing to a stronger Allen Gaels team on Friday evening.  The week finished on a brighter note however as another exciting comeback earned the girls a hard fought draw against Fenagh on Monday evening.

Croke Park Trip
Well done to our Under 12 girls and their coach Marion McKeon who organised a fantastic trip to Croke Park for Ladies All Ireland Final Day.  The girls were treated to a fantastic Senior Final in particular with plenty of excitement and edge of the seat drama, and by all accounts a great day was had everyone so well done to all involved!

Fashion Show
Preparation is in full swing for the eagerly anticipated Kiltubrid Ladies Gala Fashion Show and evening of music and craic in Kilronan Castle on Friday November 14th. Details will follow in the coming weeks so keep an eye on our Facebook page, pencil in the date and make sure to join us for a night full of entertainment!

Minors
The very best of luck to the Kiltubrid Gaa Minor team who will contest the 13 a-side Final against Melvin Geals in Pairc Séan Mac Diarmada on Sunday next Oct 5th.  The game will take place as the curtain raiser the the Intermediate County Final and throws in at 1:30 so get out the green and red and support the lads!
